Gastronomic and cultural project by the young Ecuadorian chef Miguel Ángel Méndez to introduce local diners to the cuisine of his native country. Simple two-storey venue with pictures of traditional iconography and photographs of indigenous culture on the walls. Traditional Ecuadorian cuisine with a dash of creativity and signature touches. The menu features around ten dishes designed for sharing. The green plantain and cheese fritters with caramelised pork, the ceviche with spicy peanut marinade, and the chicken stew are some of the stellar dishes. For dessert, go for the choco-banano, fried ripe banana cake with chocolate ice cream. An unexpected surprise.
