This butcher’s shop in the Malasaña neighbourhood has been going for more than a hundred years. It has been transformed to not only sell high quality meat but to allow diners to eat a variety of cuts in situ. Specialities include steak tartare, roasted pork belly, beef ribs or hanger steaks. There is a counter at the entrance and high tables on the ground floor, while the basement storeroom is great for events. To drink: wine by the glass, beer or vermouth. An innovative take on the traditional butcher and sausage makers.
