Housed in an iconic building in Plaza de Cervantes, opposite Alcalá de Henares town hall. A large, nicely decorated restaurant with high ceilings and linen-draped tables. A main dining room plus a private room, glazed courtyard and two outdoor terraces. Reasonably-priced traditional dishes made with seasonal ingredients sourced locally. The must-tries include the pork scratching soufflé with Padrón peppers, seafood rice with red shrimp, tuna tataki with salmorejo and suckling pig. Classic wine list with over a hundred labels. Well-priced set menu. One of the best in the area.
