Set in a Basque farmhouse with privileged views over Bilbao, the experience begins even before you sit down at the table. The visit starts in the famous wine cellar, with a glass of wine, anchovies and hand-carved ham served as an aperitif. In the dining room, the cooking is traditional and built around quality ingredients, with stews, meats and wild fish cooked over the grill. The house jewel is the chickpeas with lobster, a true pilgrimage dish. To finish, nothing beats a gin and tonic on the heated terrace. It’s not a budget option, but the overall experience more than justifies it.
