Dining underground in an old vaulted ice well has its own special charm. This family-run grill house, backed by three generations of butchers, personally selects all the meats before cooking them over wood embers. Highlights include jato zamorano (young veal recently weaned), Aliste T-bone steak and stewed sweetbreads. Several meat menus and a vegetable menu are available at very reasonable prices. At weekends, the place fills up with loyal devotees of good meat and fire.
