Javier Farpón has successfully taken the legacy of the historic Asador de Abel and made it his own, transforming the restaurant into one of the most interesting contemporary grill houses. Charcoal-grilled dishes remain the star of the show, with excellent cuts of meat, but there are also fish, offal and dishes that reinterpret traditional recipes with a modern twist. Must-try dishes include the croquettes, the cod omelette and a good T-bone steak. In the dining room, Juan Luis García brings expertise, a warm, approachable manner and a wine cellar to match, which is an essential part of the experience. A generational handover that preserves the essence of the restaurant while already bearing its own distinctive stamp.
