One of the meccas of steak of the Basque Country. Xabier Ruiz, grandson of the founder, is responsible for preserving the essence of this family-run business with over sixty years of history. A very special “txuleta” (T-bone steak) is served here, with high fat marbling, the outer fat trimmed to the maximum and grilled on its inclined grill. New dishes such as broth, carpaccio or steak tartare have been added to the menu with great success. For dessert, you can't go wrong with Pepi’s cheesecake. The tablecloths are made of paper, in memory of the paper mills of Tolosa. A historic wine cellar with old labels.
