This small, family-run restaurant serves what many consider to be the best set lunch menu in Bilbao, and at an unbeatable price. Here you can enjoy unpretentious, home-style cooking, made with care, served in generous portions and delivered by friendly, attentive staff. The legume stews and the tripe are among the most celebrated in the city. Other highlights include garlic soup, liver with onions and meatballs. For dessert, the flan is almost obligatory. They don’t take bookings. A humble classic that never disappoints.
