Friendly and pleasant, as you'd expect in the bar-rio. Bright, well-distributed interior, not overly large. Frequented by locals every day, round the clock. Adjacent private room and an excellent quiet terrace in the square. Nicely structured menu with appetising starters, good sandwiches (like the calamari), burgers and a smattering of hot surf and turf dishes. The beef tataki and ox-tail are sublime and very reasonably priced. Short, adequate wine list. Snappy service. A neighbourhood gem.
