The historical delicatessen in the Eixample district, open since 1898, has expanded their offer. In addition to an interesting selection of deli meats that includes Catalan and international products, they now have a bar and high tables to enjoy a casual tapa, and a gourmet restaurant with seating for eight in the back room. The menu has been designed by Chef Jordi Vilà (Alkimia, Al Kostat), and includes a new take on slow-cooked dishes: squid with onions, tuna and mushroom stew or capipota stew with black butter sauce. Before dessert, be sure to try a bit of cheese. You won’t be disappointed.
