This classic among the design-led restaurants on Enric Granados pairs a somewhat old-fashioned interior with a pleasant terrace. Open since 1940, it preserves the spirit of a traditional eatery, with a cuisine centred on charcoal cooking and time-honoured recipes. Highlights include the whitebait omelette, pig’s trotters, meatballs and tripe, alongside a daily special that might be paella, oxtail or lamb. Homemade desserts, such as recuit, are well worth a try. An experience that feels like eating at your grandmother’s house.
