In Girona’s old casino, this restaurant occupies an elegant space with magnificent vaulted ceilings that invites diners to enjoy the experience without rushing. Its cuisine starts from Catalan tradition, but incorporates creativity and imagination through a short à la carte menu and two tasting menus. Standouts include the steak tartare prepared tableside, the surf and turf dish of cod and pig’s trotters, and a magnificent cheese trolley with more than twenty varieties. The team works with professionalism and the pairings are especially well curated. There are also two private dining rooms. An established address that, far from resting on its laurels, continues to raise the bar.
