This grill house, which opened in 1989 and has a simple appearance, is a firm favourite amongst Basques. It comprises two areas: a lively bar where sandwiches and small plates take centre stage, and a refurbished dining room where the Zabaleta brothers demonstrate their mastery of the grill. Grilled fish and meat share the limelight with traditional stews, accompanied by an extensive and carefully curated wine list. The restaurant captures the essence of traditional Basque eateries.
