The most informal proposal from Javi Rivero and Gorka Rico, the brains behind Ama. An eatery with all the hallmarks associated with the duo: deceptively simple dishes crafted out of years of history and tradition. Bertakoteka means "space for local cuisine" and the à la carte menu lives up to the name. Tomato, anchovies, potato and pork jowl omelette, hake in green sauce, stewed veal cheeks, and more. During the week they offer a very complete and reasonably priced set menu. Kind, friendly staff. Spacious venue with two terraces, one inside and the other outside. Worth a second visit!
