Founded by Juan and Luisa in 1953, this Jaén classic is still thriving thanks to a family that refuses to let tradition fade. The space retains a warm, home-style feel, the kind that has witnessed countless slow-cooked stews. Andalusian cooking takes the lead, anchored in its own extra virgin olive oil: hearty stews, marinades, game and garden vegetables. Luisa’s legendary artichokes, the partridge pâté, the cod with tomato or the roast kid never disappoint. Open for lunch only. Here, food is cooked as it used to be—with patience and with soul.
