Calados are traditional underground cellars where wine is made and stored. And that is precisely the setting you will find at this restaurant in the centre of the village: two 17th-century century calados that have been lovingly converted into two dining rooms. Traditional Rioja cuisine with contemporary twists and a strong focus on vegetables. In winter, be sure to order one of the amazing stewed dishes. The roast lamb and suckling pig are excellent, and the tripe and snout get top marks as well. Quality desserts to match and a wine list that also scores very highly. A pleasant experience in an authentic Rioja wine cellar.
