Authentic Asturian cuisine in this simple restaurant that was established in 1959. Since then, it has remained faithful to the wood-fired stove, a traditional touch that enhances the flavour of every dish. This place is a typical, long-standing neighbourhood bar, with cheap prices and generous portions. The dining room in the back is decorated with Asturian objects that create an atmosphere. They serve what is possibly one of the best cachopo beef escalopes in Madrid, although the fabada bean stew is also excellent. It's hard to get a table.
