Mexican group Costeño is behind this restaurant serving contemporary Japanese cuisine with Mexican touches, opposite Retiro Park. The menu combines nigiri, sashimi and rolls with hot dishes from the robata and a selection of bowls. There is also an omakase menu. Cocktails and sake pair well with the food, service is attentive and the atmosphere lively. The sushi bar takes centre stage in a dimly lit, exposed-brick interior, with a second dining room downstairs. On Tuesday evenings, they skin and fillet the tuna in front of diners and that adds something different to the experience. A place that makes you want to come back and keep exploring the menu.
