Multifaceted chef Dani García has opened his second venue in Madrid, this time on Calle Jorge Juan. This place has a nautical vibe, much like a sophisticated, urban beach bar. The offer here includes typical Malaga fare rarely seen in the capital, including shellfish such as bolos, conchas finas and cañaíllas, or skewered sardines. The menu also includes the catch of the day and classic fried fish. There is also room for rice dishes, moist or cooked in a thin layer and smoked over grape vine. Spacious premises set on two floors, with a bar for an informal bite, two private dining areas and a street-level terrace. Impeccable decor designed to please the target clientele. Interesting wine list. Prices are steep. It’s the place to be.
