A contemporary tavern only a stone’s throw away from Cibeles, headed by Carmen Carro and Santiago Pedraza. One of its greatest characteristics is its focus on the ingredients in its cuisine. Among many other proposals, its famous Betanzos omelette, the Olivier salad or the aged beef rib-eye are outstanding. Some dishes are available in half portions. A bar area, spaces and dining rooms at different levels, and a covered courtyard. All with a cosy, comfortable atmosphere. Good quality and technique with acceptable prices. And at lunch time, if booked in advance, Carmen’s cocido madrileño (Madrid-style stew).
