Housed within the walls of a Mudejar palace, this restaurant combines Sephardic and Castilian cuisine in a setting steeped in history. Standout dishes include wood-fired roast suckling pig and lamb, along with specialities such as suckling lamb tajine with prunes, mudejar scrambled eggs and Jewish-style artichokes with romescu sauce. The Sephardic dishes, full of flavour and character, are well worth trying. Booking is recommended, as it tends to fill up. A charming option in the very heart of Segovia’s old Jewish quarter.
