Classic Spanish bar with decades of experience and a no-frills approach that constantly attracts a loyal clientele from every social background. Located a long way from the city centre, it’s famous for its home-style cooking, with dishes such as stews, oven-baked rice and rice with fesols i naps (beans and turnip). A lot of people go for the esmorzaret (Valencian-style brunch), but the star product is the cocido stew, which they prepare on Mondays. In fact, it’s so famous that you have to book a table weeks in advance. The homemade desserts are also excellent. The staff are warm and friendly. You’ll feel right at home.
