Small, simple establishment near the city centre specialising in fresh Valencian seafood and local dishes. Denia shrimps, clams, baby Norway lobster with garlic shoots, esgarraet, figatells, artichokes with wild mushrooms, and tuna fillets are some of the standouts. They also serve some original recipes like the highly unusual anchovy and pufferfish toast. Smallish serving sizes. Good wine list to wash it all down. Kind, friendly staff. A classic bar from olden days with top-quality ingredients.
