On Mount Artxanda, on the outskirts of Bilbao, this Basque farmhouse converted into a traditional grill house combines top-quality ingredients, charcoal-grilling and a meticulously curated dining experience. The interior is divided into several dining areas with a modern feel, featuring light wood and targeted lighting. The charcoal-grilled T-bone steak is the star of the show, though the octopus, black pudding and peppers are also well worth trying. Service is attentive and there is a sommelier who manages a surprisingly impressive wine cellar. Outside, the garden and communal tables offer a more relaxed way to enjoy the kitchen’s offerings. A place you’ll want to return to time and time again.
