This tavern with a Cantabrian soul offers carefully selected tapas, perfect for sharing. The concise menu is complemented by daily specials, with the thoughtful touch of also listing their prices. Among the classics are the hake and prawn pie, the escalivada and the burger. Other tempting options include the montaditos served at the bar, tripe and cachopo beef escalope. The wine cellar offers a varied selection of carefully chosen wines. The venue is cosy, though not the most comfortable: high tables, a narrow bar and a somewhat noisy atmosphere, but this is more than made up for by the warm, personal service provided by Paco and his wife María Ángeles.
