With a history dating back to 1977, this was one of the city’s first Japanese restaurants. Low-key and unpretentious from the outset, it has built a loyal following thanks to the traditional Japanese cuisine. The menu features a range of rice dishes, a must-order yakisoba, as well as well-executed maki, nigiri and other classics. At lunchtime, several set menus are available, offering excellent value for money. The space is divided between a ground floor with a sushi bar and a few tables, and an upper floor with a dining room and a private tatami room for a more authentic experience.
