This emblematic restaurant, open since 1955, needs little introduction. Under the direction of Chef Juan Antonio García, it remains faithful to traditional cuisine rooted in quality ingredients and time-honoured recipes. Stews, meats such as Murcian chato pork and kid goat, fresh fish and outstanding local vegetables form the backbone of the menu. To finish, the leche frita is almost compulsory. Many dishes are completed and plated tableside. A recent refurbishment has modernised the space without altering its essence, and the addition of a fresh produce counter at the entrance reinforces the restaurant’s daily connection to the finest ingredients. A classic spot that continues to evolve while remaining a benchmark of the region’s gastronomy.
