This family-run restaurant is very popular in Zamora for their famous cocido del Zorro, considered one of the best Castilian stews in the province. It’s prepared the traditional way, slowly cooked and served in two courses. The menu also features other classics such as Zamoran-style sweetbreads, cod with ratatouille, garlic soup and grilled meats. Portions are generous and come with good bread and wine served in a jug. The dining room has only a few tables, which fill up quickly. Booking is essential at weekends.
