Located inside the monumental Hotel Casa Fuster, this place is the brainchild of award-winning chef Paulo Airaudo, who also runs the kitchen at Amelia in San Sebastián. Impeccable dining room with large windows overlooking Passeig de Gràcia. Classic cuisine with French hints concentrated in one tasting menu, with a short version on weekdays. Everything is perfectly balanced. Dishes that vary with the seasons, like the hake neck croquette, the red mullet with gazpachuelo or the baked monkfish with beurre blanc. Extensive wine list, with plenty of by-the-glass options. Luxury menu, not cheap. The setting and the food are enough to overcome the natural reluctance to visit hotel restaurants.
