This tavern by Juan Aceituno (Dama Juana) has earned its place in the city thanks to a local cuisine with fusion touches. The à la carte menu combines dishes designed for sharing with more substantial options. It’s well worth taking the staff’s advice on the daily specials, although there are dishes that have become house specialities, such as the marinated fried pig’s ear, the steak tartare brioche or the pani puri with potato, truffle and pork jowl. The wine list is well-curated and offers options to complement any choice. It’s one of those taverns you always look forward to returning to.
