Eneko Atxa runs the restaurant at the Mercer Madrid Hotel, just a few metres from Retiro Park. The restaurant occupies the ground floor of a century-old building and features an elegant dining room with large windows, as well as a chef’s table facing the kitchen. The menu brings the essence of Azurmendi to the capital through a single tasting menu that changes with the seasons and features some of the chef’s most iconic dishes, such as roast lobster, garlic prawns with an emulsion made from their heads, and hake fillet in tempura. The very best of the Basque chef comes to Madrid.
