Aldanondo in Basque means "the best possible", and that's the motto here: top-quality produce. The menu is built around the grill, with fish and meat done to perfection. Grilled red sea bream, monkfish and T-bone steak are served every day. Don’t miss the seasonal vegetable-based starters and the home-made foie gras terrine. The desserts are also home-made and you have to order them half an hour in advance. The pastry is a must. Good value-for-money weekday menu. As a courtesy, the chef usually comes out to say hello and check that everything is in order.
