Open from breakfast time, its excellent coffee and pintxos have earned it a loyal following. Book in advance for lunch to be sure of a table. The famous specialities, and rightly so, are pilpil-style cod, anchovies and tuna with tomato. The marianito vermouth and potato omelette are must-tries. Good choice of wines. An all-time classic.
